Olivia Liu is a Hawaii and California State licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and certified Wild Goose Qigong instructor. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science and Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, she completed her Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California. After establishing her practice in Maui, Olivia took an opportunity to intern at the Taipei City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Taiwan, Where she deepened her clinical experience with Chinese herbs and Formulations. In Taiwan, She also studied with a Chinese doctor renowned for his precision in pulse diagnosis. In Boston, Olivia deepened her studies of acupuncture by interning with the world renowned acupuncturist Kiiko Matsumoto, Where she gained the bulk of her clinical exepierence with Kiiko Style Japanese Acupuncture.
Olivia combines her educational background and extensive clinical experience in treating the chief complaints as well as the root causes of the problems, allowing for deeper and longer-lasting results. She is experienced in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, immune system imbalance, women's health and fertility, hormonal imbalance, insomnia, stress and addiction, as well as many other ailments, Her specialties include pain management, internal medicine including liver, cardiac and digestive disorders, and emotional balancing.
